I might have found a new love. Today was the 2nd time here for lunch (got the chicken kabobs the first time and it was OK). Today I go the chicken gyros (~$10 for the combo meal) and OMG... The sauce was sooo heavenly and the chicken was equally juicy. The pita bread has just enough doughyness to make me want more.

Bonus: Lakers love to eat here! I took a pic with Luke Walton on Monday while he was there with Chris Mihm and Radmanovic. Luke Walton is sooooo hot, much hotter IRL than on the courts!

Petit Cafe is my favorite place to dine at within this plaza. I usually get one of the "Delight" plates. It's your choice of meat, accompanied by a huge pita, Greek salad and either Mojo potatoes or rice. I go with the potatoes.

You might be turned off by the price ($8+), but you do get a good portion of food that is freshly made and tastes awesome.

I am sitting at my cubicle, wolfing down the french fries that came with my Lunch Special #1 (Chicken Gyro, french fries, and a fountain drink for $8.49) and marveling at the quality of these tasty treats.

Expensive? Eh, for lunch, maybe a little bit. Good Gyros? Yup, definitely, but that's not all.

That's right folks, there's more to Petit Cafe than pitas and high priced kabob meat. One wouldn't necessarily expect a Mediterranean-style joint to have things like particularly delicious fries, or a breakfast platter with hotcakes, eggs and bacon, but Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, guess what?! Petit Cafe does...

Parking here, however, as someone else has mentioned, is a pain in the ass, especially at lunchtime, which effectively means any time between 11am and 2pm. The reason is because Petit Cafe is located in a plaza that includes several other small eateries. If you're close enough, I'd highly suggest walking instead of driving. People in LA don't walk enough anyway, you lazy bastards.

Delicious gyros. However, as stated, a bit on the pricey side for a lunch meal. Ordered the same $8.65 lunch special (lamb gyro, salad and drink). Always attracts employees around the area and never find this place empty. Once in a while, I say head to this place for you craving those gyros or Mediterranean/Greek Food.

Tasty gyros, although a bit on the pricey side for a quick lunch ($8.65 total for lunch special with a lamb gyro, salad, and drink). I don't think I've eaten anything else here because I'm always quite happy with their gyros.

This plaza is a huge draw for employees of the aerospace companies, Mattel, and airport personnel, so if you're not here for lunch by 11:20, parking and seating is a pain. There are lots of restaurants here but most offer very little seating inside, most of the seating is from the limited tables outside.

They may have the best gyros in town, but this is no Greek place. They're Lebanese and serve some great kabobs too. Be sure and ask for the fresh garlic sauce. I don't think they give it to you unless you ask. The grill two doors down to the left is owned by the same people. I forget the name, but they're only open during lunch, but have some great shawarma, trout, and crab-stuffed salmon.

Oh yeah, they have really good breakfasts too! The only down side is that you should probably call ahead for takeout. It gets really busy and there's nowhere to sit.
